We continue to celebrate HispanicHeritageMonth by shining a spotlight on the Spanish Community Center – Centro Español . Founded in 1969, the Spanish Community Center serves Will, Grundy, and Kankakee counties. They offer a wide range of programs, including:
– Social Services
– Legal Immigration Assistance
– Bilingual Childcare
– Education Programs
– Employment Support
– Housing Services
They also run a food pantry on Tuesdays that serves approximately 150 families per week.
