CEJA Navigator Program

The CEJA Workforce Hubs Program, funded by the Illinois DCEO through the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act, provides free clean energy training, support services, and job readiness to build a diverse workforce. It focuses on serving individuals from R3 or Environmental Justice communities, displaced energy workers, foster care alumni, and others facing employment barriers.

Lewis University’s Institute for Workforce Education, the African American Business Association, and the Joliet Latino Economic Development Association are partnering to introduce the CEJA Workforce Program to the community. This strong collaboration underscores the program’s deep roots in and commitment to the local community.

    • First Aid/CPR
    • Clean energy basics
  • Next cohort begins July 28, 2025

Job-Specific Training

  • 4-8 weeks courses

    • Residential Energy Auditor
    • EV Charging Station Installation & Maintenance Technician
