Multicultural Leadership Academy

The Multicultural Leadership Academy is hosted by the Center for Community Research & Education at Lewis University, in collaboration with Family Bridges and the Spanish Community Center. The purpose of the Academy is to bring together and train emerging leaders to meet the leadership challenges and opportunities that our diverse suburbs face in the nonprofit sector.  Through the academy, you will become part of a strong network that can call upon each other to continue making Will County a great place for all to live.

To maximize these benefits, this program will meet in person on Saturday, September 24, and continue virtually through November 12. On Saturday, November 19, there will be an in-person graduation ceremony. Each session will be 9am-1pm. In-person meetings will be at Lewis University. Virtual meetings will be via Zoom. Speakers include professors, nonprofit executive directors, experienced grantwriters, retired business executives, among others.
